Özet: The aim of this paper is to summarize our knowlegde of the recent distribution and systematic classification of the Notodontidae (Lepidoptera) occuring in 23 provinces located in the central and eastern Anatolian, Mediterranean and Black Sea regions of Turkey, based on recordsaccrued during the years 1968-2015. In this study, 93 notodontid specimens from seven collections were examined. A total of 29 species belonging to 17 genera and representing six subfamilies of Notodontidae were determined. The detailed study of specimens of the Notodontidae from four different regions of Turkey shows that Stauropus fagi (Linnaeus, 1758) is a new record for the Mediterranean region of Turkey.
