Özet: Technological developments are one of the forces that took the cities from the traditional city concept to new concept with the 21st century. The ‘intelligent’ concept that this century has made indispensable for human life has been valid for cities. With the concept of smart city, it has become obligatory to maximize the quality of life and mobility of the city population while performing public services in cities. The concept of smart city is not limited to a few subjects, but covers many other topics such as environment, health, energy, transportation, housing services and infrastructure; while providing these services, the city, where the technology-based facilities are used at the highest level, has started to be defined.Considering the concept in an international context, the city of Barcelona in Spain, which we can see often in smart city applications, is remarkable.In this respect, the study of the scope of the 22 @ Barcelona project, which was implemented in Barcelona and which is a smart city project, has been the subject of research. Purpose of the research; Analysis of the 22 @ Barcelona project and its applicability in Bandirma scale.
