Özet: The most valuable treasure is knowledge statement; It has strategic importance in the life of the individual, organization and state. Checking the weather condition with the thought that it may rain before going out, seeking answers to actions and questions such as what the developments that increase the profit rate of the rival firm, who are behind an armed attack, require the execution of an intelligence activity from the simplest to the most difficult. Intelligence, which is the process of transforming the information obtained into information, is carried out by intelligence services at the institutional level. While the majority of the intelligence information is obtained from open sources, information that cannot be accessed through open sources or diplomatic channels can be accessed through covert operations. The purpose of covert operations is not only to obtain information, but to carry out secret activities abroad in line with military, political and economic interests. The aim and content, cause and effect of covert operations such as assassination, kidnapping, propaganda, disinformation, incitement to destructive acts and bribery will be examined in this study, and case studies will be evaluated in chronological order.
