Özet: The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between lifelong learning tendencies and occupational anxiety of the prospective teachers. It was conducted with the correlational survey design. The study group consist of 254 prospective teachers (172=male, 82=female) who are studying in the faculty of education at a state university during 2016-2017 academic year. The participants were selected through the convenience sampling technique. The data were collected by using "Lifelong Learning Tendency Scale" and "Occupational Anxiety Scale for Prospective Teachers". The collected data were analysed using the statistical techniques such as Product-Moment Correlation Coefficient, simple and multiple linear regression means in the SPSS package program. According to the results of the study; when the relationships between the prospective teachers' occupational anxiety scores and lifelong learning tendencies were examined, it was found that while there was a strong and positive relationship between willingness to learn and harmony-centred anxiety (r = .26), the lowest relationship was between economic and social anxiety and willingness to learn sub-dimensions(r = .15). In addition, according to the results of regression analysis, it can be said that lifelong learning tendencies are significant predictors of occupational anxiety levels. The results obtained were discussed with the findings of other studies in the literature and suggestions were put forth.
