Özet: This study reviews the power of the public prosecutor to evaluate evidence. While reviewing this power, the evaluation of evidence by the judge is also brought under scrutiny to the extent of its relevance with the evaluation of evidence by the public prosecutor. Although this study mostly focuses on the actions taken as a result of evaluation of evidence by the public prosecutor at the investigation stage that is regulated under the Criminal Procedure Code numbered 5271, information on the actions and activities carried out by the public prosecutor as a result of the evaluation of evidence is also included.
