Özet: Competition is one of the major doctrines of all developing and developed liberal economies. Unfair competition is a matter that can always arise in all systems where competition exists. Russian Federation declared its independence immediately, after the dissolution of the Soviet Union in 1991, than has switched to the new legal system with the new constitution and legal regulations. As of 1999s, Russian economy has started to grow and develop steadily by the results of the efforting to create a competition environment. Although the provisions regarding unfair competition are not included in a special law, after the declaration of independence in 1993, they were regulated as a single article within the law issued in 2006 as a result of the rise in the economy. With the last amendment to the law in 2015, the unfair competition provisions have taken their current form. In the article containing definitions of the Federative Law on the Protection of Competition adopted in 2006, the definition of unfair competition is included and unfair competition status is regulated as a very long article specially regulated in article 14. Briefly these states are; vilification, diversion, comparison, individualization and exercise of intellectual property rights, causing confusion and the use of trade secrets; or unfair competitive situations by disclosure of those secrets. In this article, the provisions regarding unfair competition will be evaluated by translating from actual Russian text to Turkish and in the final part, the procedures in the unfair competition investigation in the Russian Federation will be mentioned.
