Özet: Regional Development Agencies (RDAs) are organizations these were established to contribute to economic development by mobilizing local potential. The first RDA in the world is the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) that was established after economic crisis (Great Depression) in 1929 in USA. RDAs were established during the 2006-2009 period in Turkey. The aim of this study is to demonstrate that RDAs were examined which ways and which research and methods in Turkish literature. The study of document analysis techniques of qualitative research methods work has involved 44 units consisting of books, articles, reports, doctoral and expertise dissertation on RDAs. These works summarized of purpose, method and terms; with classified in terms of the issues dealt and methods applied and evaluated in general. Analysis indicated that RDAs have economic, political and social aspects; these were determined on the basis of the examination quantitative and qualitative research methods with mixed methods research. In the mentioned studies it was determined that the researches which are examined with economic aspects (56 %) and qualitative research methods (document analysis, 63,5 %) are highlighted
