Özet: The basic principle of Labor Law, which has gained an autonomous identity with industrialization, is the protection of the rights and freedoms of the individual who is a worker. Because law is also defined as a social phenomenon. In line with the said aim, it is also important to maintain social balance. In this review article, “Labor legislation, occupational healt and labor safety” is mentioned. In paralell with labor law and 0ccupational health and safety which constitues the main problem and protection of workers, the main problems in related aspects were examined; solutions are emphasized. In the first part of the review, “Work, Work Place, Work Labor Law Concepts and Features, The History of Labor Legislation and Labor Law in Turkey, The Evalution of Labor Law in the World, The Modern Labor Laws”; in the next part, “Employment Contracts, The Concept of Occupational Health and Safety, Labour Accidents, Turkey and Comparison of European Union Legislation has been referred to the Consept of Job Security, The Scope and Mediation and 5237 Turkey located in the Criminal code of Labor Law Crimes.
