Özet: In this study, the opinions of academicians employed in Gazi University Gazi Education Faculty during 2010-2011 Education-Education academic year about the İnternet usage for educational purposes are investigated by a survey. 100 academicians have been participated in the study. The survey includes statements regarding the opinions of the academicians regarding the İnternet usage for educational purposes. It is found out that on the average frequency, the academicians select "undecided" alternative for their opinions of İnternet usage for educational purposes. The opinions of the academicians regarding the İnternet usage for education purposes do not change due to gender. In the opinions according to the departments, it has been found out that interdepartmental variations was not meaningful. Besides, the opinions do not vary according to the titles of the academicians.
