Özet: This quantitative study aims to determine the effect of a blended learning environment which includes cadaver dissection shootings and related 3-D images they can use during the hours of independent study and where they can ask some questions to the instructor so that the students can further benefit from the cadaver training on academic achievement of the students taking the anatomy course in the Faculty of Medicine. The target population of the present study is comprised of the students of the Faculty of Medicine, Kocaeli Universiy, while the sample is comprised a group of people randomly selected among the 213 students of Semester II during the Academic Year 2012-2013, and divided into four groups for the anatomy laboratory course. In this study, a quasi-experimental design in which control and experiment groups involved final test measurements was conducted. To measure the success of laboratory course, a practical exam was performed on cadavers, ps and models. According to the findings of the research, among the laboratory results used to measure the students' academic success, a significant result in favor of blended learning group has been reached while there has been found statistically no meaningful difference among theoretical results. As a result, blended learning environment prepared for anatomy lesson increased the academic success of students in laboratory exam. The use of blended learning in anatomy lesson may reduce the effects of crowded laboratory environment and lack of cadavers. Although the burden of teaching staff increased, blended learning can be used benefits such as reusability, 3D material, ensuring interaction.
