Özet: The uses of interactive whiteboard and multi-‐media materials or learning objects has gained considerable importance in teacher education by considering the technological investments in the process of becoming information society and entrance of new technologies suc as interactive boards and tablet computers to the schools. This situation indicates us that teachers and teacher candidates should acquire the necessary knowledge and skills about uses of interactive whiteboard and multimedia objects during their in-‐service and pre-‐service trainings. This study investigated the changes in attitudes of teacher candidates (N=537) who were trained in the teaching and learning environments in Faculty of Education in which interactive board and multi-‐media objects were used. Spesifically, by using the pre-‐test and post-‐test technique, whether the teaching with multi-‐media objects in an interactive environment effect the attitudes of teacher candidates toward teaching with enriched content was tried to be identified in the study. According to the findings, teaching in the classrooms by using interactive whiteboards and multimedia objects has postive effect on the attitudes of teacher candidates toward teaching with enriched content on perceived usefulness, contributition to learning, and attention-‐motivation subscales. Moreover, according to the opinions of the participants (N=102) which were obtained by using written semi-‐structured survey questions, most important advantages of interactive whiteboards are getting attention of the students, audio-‐visual and inetractive characteristics. However, lack of sufficient knowledge and skills of some teachers and students in using interactive whiteboard appeared as most important disadvantage in the matter of effective use.
