Özet: In this study, bearing capacities, settlement and stress behavior were determined for a shallow circular foundation inside and outside of a shear plane under eccentric loading conditions. For this purpose, unreinforced and reinforced slope models which were safe against collapsing, were used. Geogrids were fixed at some predetermined depths inside the slope. Loading values, displacements and additional vertical stress values which occurred as a result of the circular footing were measured by means of load cells, displacement transducers and pressure transducers, respectively. Finally, it was identified that eccentricity had an important effect in the determination of bearing capacity and soil stresses.
