Özet: In this study, a historical masonry arch bridge called Cendere Bridge was investigated under earthquake effects by building 3D finite element model of bridge. The finite element model was constructed using solid element with the assumption of homogeneous material in the structure. The earthquake response was investigated for linear elastic behavior applying time-history analysis. Different earthquake scenarios of strong ground motion records that represent the regional seismicity of bridge were employed for the earthquake responses. The earthquake record resulting in the most adverse responses was taken into account for seismic evaluations. The results indicate to the possibility of the exceedance of tensile strength of masonry stone at the arch region, resonance occurrence and high spectral amplifications under earthquake. The results of the study notice a potential of damage risk for the bridge under a possible earthquake.
