Özet:    Üsküdar-Ümraniye-Çekmeköy Metro Project is a public transportation Project with 563,899,995.32 Euro budget which has 17 km main route tunnels, and 2.8 km long connection tunnel between the depo area and main metro line. The main metro line tunnels are planned to be built by tunnel boring machines (TBMs). The rest of the tunnels are planned to be built by the New Austrian Tunneling Method (NATM) because of the different cross section of these tunnels.  The effect of two application methodology revisions on duration and cost of the project is summarized in this paper. Firstly, at the beginning of the metro Project technical spaces for tunnel ventilation fan rooms (TVFs) are planned to be built by cut and cover method in a shallow position from the surface level. However, it was preferred to be built the TVFs at the platform tunnels level by building extra tunnels instead of using cut and cover technique.  Secondly, depo connection tunnel, which was planned to be a single tunnel by the new Austrian Tunneling Method (NATM), was built as two twin tunnels by TBMs. With these projects changes, that are done at the beginning of Üsküdar-Ümraniye-Çekmeköy Metro Project, the project duration was decreased approximately one year.  At the end of the Project without taking into consideration of the incomes due to time decrease, there had been a financial saving, which is related to the direct construction costs such as 40,451,266.00 Euro means a saving of 7.2% in the total project budget.
