Özet: Secondary aluminum become prominent due to production costs and environmental issues of primary aluminum. However, inclusions and impurities included in secondary aluminum causes avoiding excess amount of secondary aluminum in fabricating critical parts. In this work, while vibrating the mould whether these inclusions were floated or not and whether solid part under these porosities and inclusions were produced or not were preliminarily explored. Concurrently, effect of vibrating on solidification was investigated. Variations of dendrite morphologies during solidification were examined using optical microscope. DAS and SDAS were measured.
