Özet: The aim at livestock industries is to make profit, as at other industries; but animal nutrition is a very important business and this point should not been ignored while implementing that. Likewise animals must be fed completely and properly. This hardly takes place with an accurate feed formulation and ration.  For increasing animal’s efficiency, getting the maximum product with least-cost feed and feeding animals with balanced rations are required. Preparing a balanced ration with minimum cost problem appears to be a goal programming problem. In this paper, the least-cost ration preparation problem is discussed as multi-objective mixed integer linear programming problem; thus it aims to determine the optimum animal number at a specific investment range by meeting a specific demand, preparing the least-cost ration in order to feed these animals and determining the required acreage and feed storage capacities to product some feeds within the firm. Mathematical model of the problem is formulated within the study and WinQsb 2.0 packaged software is utilized for solution.
