Özet: Historical buildings often experience decrease in their genuine structural performance and architectural functions due to natural impacts and man-made interventions. Even at their ruined and intervened state, they mostly maintain their values in need of protection. Masonry is much more complicated in the context of structural behavior, when compared with modern building techniques. Reactions of masonry sometimes becomes even more unpredictable due to interventions or damages effecting the structural system. Sinan Pasa Kulliye having the typical characteristics of Ottoman period, is dated back to the second half of 16th century. Imaret and inn sections that came up to modern days, exposed to some additions and interventions owing to the spatial needs varying over time, which caused some major structural damages. Within this study imaret section of kulliye is examined, effects of man-made interventions and additions on the structural performance are determined by conducting numerical model representing the original state of target structure. The imaret should be very resistant under earthquake effect or other kind of loads unless it was intervened, meanwhile because of interventions and damages, it encounters the risk of collapse even with a low seismic force.
