Özet: The efficient usage and planning, which is suitable for the potential of existing land, is very important and constitutes the basis of land use policies in sustainable land management. The decision-makers should evaluate many the alternative together considering all the criteria for this planning process. In this study, it is aimed to determine the optimum usage areas of agricultural land of Beyşehir-Kaşaklı sub-basin using the integrated form of Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) technologies. The six major and twenty-two sub-criteria were determined by searching literature in the choice of location. Land Use / Cover, Topographic Properties, Climate Factor, Soil Properties, Accessibility, and Irrigation were used as the major criterion in Application. The expert opinions have been used in determining the importance of parameters according to each other. As a result of all analyses, it was determined that 14.84% of the 7329 km2 study area is highly suitable for agricultural production, 14.98% is moderately suitable and 15.54% is low-suitable, 35.62% is not suitable for agricultural production and 19.00% is completely unsuitable.
