Özet: Pardus is our national operating system developed by using Linux kernel distributed in free source format. Many countries such as Germany and China have developed their own operating systems. In these countries, these operating systems have been used for many years in especially government instituons for safeness. Unfortunately, our national operating system Pardus has not been used commonly in our country. In order to make Pardus become widespread, the curriculum of all schools from primary education to university education must be adjusted according to Pardus. As we use Pardus in both school and home, it will be used in business. By government encouragement of the software developed for Pardus, Pardus will become widespread in all areas. As Pardus becomes more common, it will meet society by revealing from scientific area. Thus, it will be possible to make some contribution to national economy and to give the real value to our national operating system
