Özet: In this research, the identity of cooperative whose foundation goes back to 1890s years have been examined. Although their foundation is so old, they have not been operating very actively after 1980. In this research, young population especially, the young people in higher vocational school in University have been asked their opinion about cooperative identity. At the end of the reseach, it was recognized that youth in Universities are only aware of construction cooepratives and they do not consider cooperatives as an institution looking for their interest
