Özet: In Turkey, the first multi-party life experiences, occurred in the early years of the Republic. Due to social and political conditions, the transition to multi-party life became possible after 1946. II. failure of the fascist regime after World War II and is starting to gain importance and prevalence of world-wide democratic government, which is considered as an effective element in the transition to a multiparty system in Turkey. The purpose of this research, factors influencing voter behavior in Turkey, is to address the variability within the framework of the political party leaders and political preferences. The research process was planned and carried out within the framework of mixed design. The quantitative data of the study were obtained through an online questionnaire. The literature review was used to obtain the qualitative data required to establish the logical framework and scientific basis of the study. The data obtained through the literature review were subjected to document analysis. 184 people participated in the survey prepared within the scope of the study. When the survey results were examined, it was found that the participants stated that their political party preferences might change over time; that they considered influencing the voting potential of the political party leader; It was observed that they stated that citizenship and family pressure factors were not effective in choosing a political party. Therefore, economic factors when making increasingly political party preferences of voters in Turkey and they begin to consider their actions and thus it is understood that the party tends toward making rational choices.
