Özet: The aim of this study is to investigate the relationships between political party / alliance and presidential preferences of the university students and some demographic variables on 24 June 2018 elections. As part of this aim, 393 university students, including 266 females and 127 males, who study in İstanbul participated in this study. The findings revealed that there were some significant relationships; between the participants' gender and political party preferences, between income levels and presidential preferences, between political positions and political party/presidential preferences, between political party preferences and presidential preferences, between political party preferences and parents' political party preferences. The research findings have been discussed in the light of related literature.
