Özet: Turkey is home to a society which synthesizes religious values with a secular life style. Although one of these elements may be adopted at the expense of the other in any specific time period, the synthesis of these two elements is evident not only in both the implantation and manifestations of public policy, but also in public discussion and debates there on. In such a reality, it is understandable that this same synthesis be present within economic policy, particularly in capital market regulations. Consequently, within the Capital Market Law, it is observed that both of these elements are allocated a place in the market as per market regulations on capital market tools. The goal of this study is two-fold. On the one hand, it attempts to discuss to what extent capital market ınstruments are in line with Islamic values, while on the other hand, it attempts to lay out to what extent certain approaches related to source factors and invesment tools are feasible within a framework that places imporantance on moral values
