Özet: Republic of Turkey has positioned itself in the capitalist Western countries and as the country started to improve, slightly later World economic crisis in 1929 has emerged. This is why economic and social problems have been felt deeply in Turkey. Citizens were not happy with the government as the country has just relieved itself from the War of Independence and severe financial problems. Economic problems have even brought more stress to the citizens. In addition, a necessity has arisen in order to invest with the support of the state, thus a decision has been made so investment with the support of state has taken place as private entrepreneurship failed to do so. The “Stateship” philosophy has emerged and however it should not mean that capitalism has been forgone. At that time, stateship policies had to be implemented to enhance capitalism. This is why the emergence of Kadro magazine has been favorable as managers tried to get support ideologically in terms of implementing stateship policies. Even though Kadro Magazine founders have originated from Marxist tradition, they have not brought this approach to the Kadro Magazine management despite the state’s “Stateship” implementation. They worked well with the government policies
