Özet: In developed capitalist societies, the impact of industrialization and mass production of goods and services has experienced a rapid increase in production. In many developed countries for the consumption of produced goods and services have started to implement supportive economic policies. As a natural result of this policies instead of meet the needs, consumption has become purpose of needs. Baudrillard’s 'consumer society' which tries to explain the concept of producing the phenomenon of consumption, such as a country, like Turkey which enters the late modernization process, reveals a more dramatic statement in a country which not completed their social and economic development. The purpose of this study, especially in the post-2008 period followed by many countries Keynesian economic policies in Turkey in the light of first quarter of 2009 and whole 12-months of 2015 periods 2009:1-2015:4 to analyze the impact of the increase in consumer credit current account deficit. First of all, VAR model was established to research the effect of the increase in consumer credit of current account deficit. Based on the VAR model, Granger causality test, impulse response analysis and variance decomposition was carried out. The findings, consumer loans are such as to reinforce the view that the effect of the increase in current account deficit
