Özet: The aim of this study is to investigate the long-run relationship between the economic growth rate and unemployment rate in Turkey over the period 1980-2014. To this end, the cointegration test developed by Bayer ve Hanck 2012 is applied. In addition, the existance of the causality relationship between the growth rate and unemployment rate is tested by the Hacker and Hatemi J 2006 ’s test. The findings showed that, there is no cointegration relationship in the long-run and any causality between growth rate and unemployment rate. These findings support the thoughts that there exist jobless growth in Turkey
