Özet: This study was designed to determine whether healthcare students are worried about becoming unemployed and variables that affect life satisfaction and unemployment worries levels. The population of the study is 3rd and 4th grade students in health management department of a state university in Ankara. It has tried to reach to all students; but a total of 136 74.5% students were reached. To measure the level of unemployment worries among students, "unemployment worries scale" developed by Ersoy-Kart and Erdost 2008 is used. “Saticfaction with Life Scale” developed by Diener et al. 1985 is used to measure the level of life satisfaction. The total mean score of the students’ unemployment worries was found 2.65±0.601; the mean score of the students’ life satisfaction was found 4.56±1.221. There is a low, neagative and statistically significant relation between these variables r=-0,318 . The most important variable affecting the life satisfaction level of the students was found as unemployment worries. Unemployment worries negatively affects the life satisfaction of students. It can be said that decreasing the level of worries based on unemployment is an important factor in increasing the life satisfaction of students.
