Özet: Crisis is previously unknown and unpredictable developments, or some underestimated developments causing results that affect the state and the economy at macro level, and companies and entrepreneurs at micro level. And global crisis can be described as an economic heart attack affecting the whole world and causing the countries to experience a turnaround economically, whose reason is a country or economic instability and financial crises in the region. The purpose of this study is to put forth a philosophy about the reasons for the emergence of financial crises, especially in the context of the 2008 mortgage crisis, which seriously shake up the world economies when they occur, and have social and political influences besides financial effects; and, in a macro frame, to discuss who, for what purpose, leads the global crisis, and what interests groups are in the best interests of the crisis. As a research method, document review and semi-structured interview techniques from qualitative research methods were used. The obtained data was interpreted using descriptive analysis method, and some findings were reached that different interest groups are consciously striving to bring about financial crisis.
