Özet: In the study, we have used a 27-item the Political Paticipation Scale used by Tola 2007 with the aim of assessing participants level of participation as active participation, çivil participation, passive participation . Additionally, some related questions to political participation have been added to identify the role of social, cultural, economic and demographic factors. In the context of the study, it was aimed to assess participation levels of individuals and to determine if the demograpfic characteristics of individuals have an impact on participation levels. Besides, we wanted examine whether there is a difference in political participation rates in accordance with political opinions or political party affiliation. Furthermore, another purpose of the study was to determine whether the communication technologies have an impact on the level of affiliation, and if has, then what factors are effective on this process. It is also expected that the study will contribute to the literature and be used as input in political marketing studies in the future.
