Özet: Constitutional economics as a reflection of public choice theory is a discipline of science that comes to the forefront after the second world war and explains economic decision making preferences in the political process based on the procedures and assumptions of economics. The limitation of economic policies to certain predetermined rules and their regulation as financial provisions in the Constitution have recently become an important place in the literature of economics politics. In this study, the assumptions of the development of the Constitutional Economics theory, its implementation in Turkey and the possibility and results of its application will be evaluated. In addition, the benefits and drawbacks of the economic and financial provisions in the constitution will be stated.
