Özet: The purpose of this article is to examine the historical causes of the Palestine issue. Therefore, it is aimed to find the basis of the problem for the understanding of the dispute and the conflict in the Palestine issue. In this article, literature review was conducted using qualitative research methods. In this direction, firstly, Palestinian history was examined for the understanding of the sociological and cultural structure in the Palestinian territory. Then, the causes of the problem were discussed in more detail and a conclusion was reached. As a result of the research, it was observed that religious, ideological and political interventions took place on the historical basis of the Palestine issue.
