Özet: The economic, social and technological developments in the world dominated by globalization have been effective in the administrative field as in every field. This situation in which boundaries disappeared, led to the emergence of new concepts, understandings and institutions in the field of management in today's world. One of the new concepts is ‘governance’ that affect many disciplines, from business to public administration, from politics to international relations and which has been the hallmark of especially public administration in recent years. The origin of the concept of governance, which was first used in Northern Europe, dates back to the sixteenth century. In today's sense, governance which was mentioned as ‘Good Governance’ in a report World Bank's published for the first time in 1989, is defined as the use of authority derived from formal and informal traditions and institutions for common benefit. Governance is a concept that is used with different definitions in many areas, including especially political, economic and social. With the globalization, international governance has been the concept that stands out in the context of governance. It is known that G-7 and G-20 summits are accepted as the most important reflections of international governance prominent in the form of inter-state cooperation. Therefore, the purpose of this paper is to examine these reflections within the framework of international governance. In this context, the paper dwell on the historical development and definition of the concept of governance and are examine the G-7 and G-20 summits, which are reflections of international governance. It is very important to find a equilibrium point between opportunities and problems that arise on a world scale. This situation will only be possible by establishing a good governance structure. Well, how will the structure of the current global governance be improved and how will good governance be achieved? In this direction the last section of the paper address how should be good governance at the G7 and G20 summits.
