Özet: Globalization and opendency have affect with various aspects of a country's economy. Indicators of income distribution are very important in terms of showing the economic and social consequences of the transformation in the economy. İn this article, the effects of foreign trade liberalization on the income distribution of the Economy of Turkey is examined by aspects of technology imports and exports. İn the econometric model of the study which analyzed by the least squares method, Gini coefficient is dependent, and rates of technology imports and exports are independent variables. According to findings of the study, the increase in technology imports has a positive effect and the increase in technology exports has a negative effect on the income distribution. Accordingly, a 1% increase in rate of technology imports reduces the Gini coefficient by 0.11%; a 1% increase in the rate of technology exports increases the Gini coefficient by 0.18%
