Özet: Some words cannot be translated to the other languages directly. The most difficult thing to the Ukrainian students in the Turkish studing issue is a lof of differences between these two languages. Cultures are also different. If translator has misunderstandings in the translation process, it cannot be successful. The current research is devoted to the problem of the Turkish culture-specific vocabulary teaching students to the Ukrainian students and the problems that can be met in this process. The article contains introduction part, aim, problem description, methodological basis, main part, conclusions, discussion and recommendation parts. 64 students of Kiev National Linguistic University took part in this research. 10 papered list of the Turkish culture-specific vocabulary has been formed. All the gathered words have been devoted into three big groups. The first one is connected with the cultural, religious and every day things that cannot be met in the Ukrainian language. Words that have denotates in both languages but cannot be expressed by one linguistic item in the Ukrainian language formed the second group. And the third group consists of the specific scientific terms that can be used only in the Turkish life. Description of the teaching method was the second stage of this research. It contains four steps: presentation, approbation, logical and criticizing steps. Teachers use all of these four steps by their own way taking into consideration different students’ factors.
