Özet: While quantitative research techniques/methods such as survey depend completely on choosing from the given options, and half-structured research methods such as interviews on the participant’s vocal expressions and personal opinions, in studies based on observation, concrete data obtained through camera footage and control lists next to the researchers perception is the basis. However, not having enough time to observe all the participants due to their high number, and not being able to generalize the study results pose as the limitations of this method. Therefore, it is thought considered that, to support the results, next to the quantitative research methods carried out in order to reach a high number of participants, a sample should be determined to increase the credibility of this research with a qualitative study. In our completed doctoral work/dissertation, in order to increase the credibility of the survey, in which the general behavior of German language teachers in Turkey related to their social and academic methods are questioned, and the interviews done with 34 teachers, and to avoid subjectivity, triangular research method has been preferred supported by structured observation technique. In this study, the preparation-application-evaluation steps/phases of the control list used during eight teachers’ four-hour-long observation results are reflected.
