Özet: Throughout human history, it has experienced pandemics many times. However, the covid-19, which is the last pandemic that the world has experienced closely had deeper, multidimensional, and different effects. The Covid-19 pandemic had come forward in the neoliberal era of the world, where the responsibility of the social state is tried to be reduced, deepening income inequality and poverty and caused unhealthy and overcrowded cities, and trade became highly globalized, acceleration of production and consumption, and privatization of health services. For this reason, apart from the covid-19’s medical effects, different psychological, social, and economic experiences have been emerged. Among these experiences, one of the groups that experienced the heaviest physical, social, and psychological impact was healthcare professionals. Within the scope of this evaluation, the health workers' impact from the pandemic was evaluated in terms of physical, emotional, cognitive, social, economic, and spiritual dimensions within the framework of the ecological approach, and it was observed that health workers were deeply affected by the pandemic process compared to other segments of the society and there were problems in coping mechanisms, especially due to excessive stress. If preventive services are not developed, it is seen that they will experience deep psychosocial effects that will become difficult to manage in the long term.
