Özet: Aim: To analyze the pre- and post-Covid-19 financial performance of private German clinics listed on the DAX. Method: PROMETHEE (Order of Preference Organization Method for Enrichment Assessments) is a Multi-Criteria Decision Making Method that ranks a set of objects based on a set of variables or criteria. In this study, the financial performance of private health clinics in Germany is compared using PROMETHEE, one of the MCDM methods. Within the scope of the research, four private health clinics listed on the stock exchange in Germany are examined between 2016 and 2021. This study consists of two time periods. It is examined in the first time period before Covid-19 (2016-2019) and in the second time period after Covid-19 (2020-2021). The financial performance of private health clinics for both periods is calculated according to the determined criteria. By using the Entropy Method in weighting the criteria, it is aimed to make an objective evaluation without the need for the personal opinion of the decision maker. After the criteria are weighted, the PROMETHEE method is applied. Results: According to this method, it can be said that the clinics are in the same order among all years and their values are close. Conclusion: When the private health clinics whose financial performance is analyzed with the Entropy-based PROMETHEE method before and after COVID-19, it is concluded that there is no change in the ranking in general. As a result of the method performed in accordance with the determined criteria, the clinic in the best rank is Rhoen Klinikum, the clinic in the second best rank is Mediclin, the clinic in the third rank is Fresenius Medical, and the clinic is Fresenius SE in the fourth rank.
