Özet: In this study, the individualist understanding which Friedrich August von Hayek, one of the most important liberal thinkers of 20. Century, set the bases of his freedom thought on the freedom thought particularly required for a society and the responsibility thought related to freedom are examined. The individualism, freedom and the responsibility thoughts of Hayek are stated within the concept of spontaneous order which defined the contemporary classical liberal tradition and are defended to be concretized. Indeed Hayek systematizes all his studies and writings around his thought of spontaneous order. Hayek stands for opposing against being regulated in a designed social order, via giving importance to individuals and their freedoms.
