Özet: Classical poetry, which we call classical Kurdish poetry, is the name of a rich literary art that takes place in every stage of human life and deeply covers his world of belief and ideas. In classical poetry, it is possible to see and read human virtues, weaknesses, dreams, ideals and principles in all areas of life. One of these areas of life is humility, which is described as humiliating oneself in front of Allah and other people, and is seen as a praiseworthy act. Faki-yî Teyran is one of the poets of classical Kurdish literature and has dealt with the subject of modesty and humility many times in his poems. In this article, Faki-yî Teyran's poems were reviewed, couplets related to the subject of modesty were determined and these couplets were examined in the context of the subject.
