Özet: Proverbs are anonymous products that contain the culture and values of the society. Proverbs convey the moral norms that regulate the society to future generations in an advisory quality. It is of great importance for Turkish society in terms of having motifs belonging to Turkish traditions. The theme of "Virtues" is also included in the Turkish Curriculum. Educators use proverb to help students gain the goals in the "Virtues" theme. The aim of this study is to create a “Ministry of Education” (MONE, 2019: 15) appropriate to the subtitles of the theme of “Virtues” (Morality, Humility, Perseverance, Generosity, Friendship, Solidarity, Optimism, Brotherhood, Loyalty, Conscience, etc.) in the MEB Turkish Lesson Curriculum. proverbs pool”. This study is a qualitative study and document analysis method was used in the study. For the study, Ömer Asım Aksoy's Proverbs and Idioms Dictionary-1 and Kitab-ı Atalar books were scanned and some lists were created according to their compatibility with the theme that meets the meaning of the proverb. In the "Vocabulary" section of the Turkish Curriculum (MEB, 2019: 36), "T.6.3.6. It determines the contribution of idioms and proverbs to the text.” It is intended to be used as a course material for learning.
