Özet: Technological developments, increases in per capita income, increase in the level of urbanization and easy access to health services cause an increase in health expenditures. Therefore, the increase in health expenditures and the increasing similarity of the health policies implemented by the countries reveal the existence of the convergence hypothesis in health expenditures and health status indicators. In this respect, the validity of the convergence hypothesis in health expenditures and health status indicators for the 1995-2020 period for selected developed economies is examined by panel unit root test. The findings reveal that the convergence hypothesis in health expenditures and health status indicators is not valid.
