Özet: In this study, some important issues related to the wedding ceremony are discussed. In this framework, the issues of giving a sermon at the marriage contract, congratulating the marriage, wedding dinner and entertainment are explored. The sermon given at the nikah contract is called dhikr. Congratulating the couples is of great importance in order to share their joy. Congratulation is also a prayer and a sign of goodwill. It is the duty of the groom's side to give a wedding meal, which is a sign of gratitude. The type and quality of the wedding meal may vary according to the financial situation of the groom. It is the right of the host to honour the invitation to a meal. At the point of entertainment, songs and music were emphasised. It is considered mustahabb to play the tambourine at a wedding and to sing words that are not objectionable. Issues such as the rukun and conditions of the marriage contract are excluded from the scope. In this study, many works were thematically reviewed by using qualitative research method. The information and findings were transferred to writing in harmony. E-books, articles, etc. are among the used works. It should be noted that new studies on the subject are limited. Wedding dinner, entertainment, etc. information about each subject was given first. The relevant verses and hadiths are quoted, and then the opinions on the ruling on this issue are discussed. Finally, evaluation and preference are made.
