Özet: Tekirdağ has hosted many poets due to its proximity to the capital of the Ottoman state and being an active commercial center. According to the information obtained as a result of the researches, a total of 73 poets lived in Tekirdağ from the 15th century to the 20th century. In the 18th century, it was determined that one third of the total number of poets, that is, 31 poets, lived in this town. One of these poets is Ahmed Lutfi from Tekirdag. Based on her Divan, the poet, who we think was born in the last quarter of the 17th century and died in the second half of the 18th century, also has a biographer besides her Divan. The poet has a voluminous divan consisting of 623 poems. His work “Şuarâ-yı Tezkire” is a book in which he introduces 20 poets from Tekirdağ and presents examples from their poems. In this study, we have tried to identify the literary circles where the poets from Tekirdağ come together with some examples from the two works of Ahmed Lutfi mentioned above. In Tekirdağ, these literary circles were formed around ”Shops, shuara assemblies and taverns". The poets of the period sometimes gathered in the mansion of a statesman working in that town, sometimes in the council of a master poet, and sometimes in a shop or tavern corner.
