Özet: The purpose of this systematic review, the pricing of health services and the diagnosis-related groups is to examine the application in Turkey and the world. In our study, a systematic review was performed using the keywords. The subject is conceptually discussed on the basis of literature. Another controversial issue of healthcare financing is the way of payment methods. The complexity of the services provided in health services is one of the main reasons for the payment procedures to be complicated. Countries spend their limited resources on healthcare services, and they have sought different payment methods to achieve the highest quality and fair services available and to ensure optimal efficiency. Diagnosis Related Groups (DRG), which have an important place among the world's payment systems, are a classification or scoring method. More than 20 countries around the world are currently developing DRG-based systems and are using them as a payment method. In Turkey, within the framework of the Health Transformation Program, by the Directorate General of Health Services, Diagnosis-Related Groups (DRG) studies are conducted. The provision and financing of health services is one of the most important problems of the health sector. While some countries, such as Scandinavian countries, provide both financing and service delivery by the state, in some countries such as Germany, France, Japan and Canada, services are offered both private sector and by the state, and these services are financed by tax revenues and premiums. In the United States, the services offered by the private sector are either private insurance or out-of-pocket expenses. Health care services include high professionalism and high costs. How to finance these high costs is a matter of debate.
