Özet: A series of 2,5-disubstituted-3-phenyl-1,2-dihydro-1,2,4-triazin-6(5H)-one derivatives (13(a-g), 18(a-g), 21(a1-a5, 21b) were synthesized using appropriate synthetic route and characterized by spectral data. Synthesized compounds were evaluated for their antimalarial and antimicrobial activities. In vitro antimalarial activity was evaluated against chloroquine-sensitive (3D-7) strains of Plasmodium falciparum by using chloroquine and quinine as standard drung. For antimicrobial activity compounds were tested against four bacteria (Escherichia coli,Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus pyogenes) and three fungi(Candida albicans, Aspergillus niger, Aspergillus clavatus)using gentamicin, ampicillin, chloramphenicol, ciprofloxacin, norfloxacin and nystatin, griseofulvin as standard drugs, respectively.
