Özet: Protected natural areas; It has limited resources, natural, cultural and intangible assets. Therefore, the pressure on these areas is also increasing and these pressures affect the land use/land cover and cause the change of natural and cultural landscapes. Today, with the development of technology, it is quite possible to determine the analysis of these changes easily with remote sensing and geographic information systems. Introducing the analysis of the change in the land cover will support the creation of a sustainable-planned land use pattern. In this study, a working boundary was created in the Göksu Delta and its immediate surroundings, which is a Protected Natural Area in the Silifke District of Mersin Province and has the status of a Special Environmental Protection Area. Temporal changes in land cover/land uses of the study area boundary between 1990-2000-2006-2012-2018 were analyzed using land cover maps QGIS 3.14.16 through Corine data.
