Özet: The purpose of this study is to examine the papers in the field of gastronomy and culinary arts presented on National Tourism Congresses in the period from 2009-2015 according to the specific parameters of bibliometrics analysis. In this context, starting from 10th to 16th National Tourism Congress, total of 7 congress proceedings in electronic form were reviewed and 63 studies in the gastronomy and culinary field were derived. The accessed papers were analyzed with statistical program and relevant parameters were explained through frequency and percentage values. According to the obtained results, the most of the papers were published at 16th National Tourism Congress, average page number was 14,1 and average reference number was 23,8. It can be noticed that generally foreign sources were referred in the studies. Empirical studies with quantitative research approach and survey as a data collection method were prevailing. Total of 157 authors contributed to the congress proceedings with 2,4 writers per paper on average and most of them holding the assistant professor title. On the other hand, results have shown that most of the authors were from Mersin University with most of the contributors working at Tourism Faculty
