Özet: In 21st century which is called age of technology and information, Enterprises has increased competition environment to intense level. In intense competition environment, Enterprises has taken on to achieve competitive advantage in product differentiation and improving present product. Owing to direct influence of duty structure feature and consumer preferences, in hotel operations that create subject of study, take attention to importance of innovative activities in competitive occasion between businesses and carrying brand to leading position. Hospitality enterprises want to be predominant over other competitor and take a leading part in market with their innovative activity, while they give own image and branded service to consumer. So, to skimming of market, It is needed to enter market before competitors, with product which is appropriate to consumer’s needs. In this regard, main purpose of this aim to determine effect of innovative activity, which is performed in 4 and 5- star hotel enterprises in East Marmara, to provide competitive advantage. With this aim, in the paper, which is designed as a qualitative research, semi-structured interview has been used and data gathered making face to face interview with managers. According to results of analyses, It has been determined that much of innovative activity of hotel enterprises has made real in architecture area. Besides, It has been reached that some enterprises has tried their innovative activity is that appropriate requests and needs of consumer. Consequently, businesses that realize innovative activities in each area, deal with factors as a whole, realize innovative activities in each area can be said that obtain competitive advantage
