Özet: Introduction: This study aimed to contribute to the activities of preventing chronic disease at the office workers. Material and methods: Totally 204 workers participated. In addition to the anthropometric and biochemical examinations, a questionnaire was used. Findings: As a result it was observed that women consumed whole grain products and diet soda more than men, and men consumed more regular soda, fried foods and dried fruits and edible nuts in general and consumed more meat where they had no cafeteria at the workplace. The rates of not having more than three meals and not consuming enough fruit and vegetable were 38% and 22,2%, 24% and 5,6%, 73,3% and 63%, 72% and 38,9%, %58,7 and %50 for men and women respectively. The average values of fasting plasma glucose (FPG), high dansity lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-K), triglyceride, sistolic blood pressure, diastolic blood pressure, waist circumference and body mass index (BMI) were 87,8 and 85,1 mg/dl, 44,8 and 55,6 mg/dl, 128,1 and 81,9mg/dl, 119,4 and 112,1 mm Hg, 78,3 and 74,0 mm Hg, 92,5 and 75,4 cm, and 26,5 and 22,7 for men and women respectively. Considerations: We can consider that, the MS rates are high for workers especially on men.
