Özet: The purpose of this study is to compile research studies regarding use of interactive games as of mathematics teaching environment. According to data obtained from these works, primary and secondary education students' qualifications of interactive games that is suitable for mathematics curricula are given. For that purpose, journal articles, dissertations and reports published until 2012 and involving main topic titles of mathematics and interactive games have been searched taking account of effective usability of interactive games in mathematics, effects on educational outputs of achievement and attitude, cognitive and behavioural effects on students and features that should exist in a effective mathematics games. Total of 48 articles, dissertations and reports that are suitable for the purpose of the study have been classified into 4 groups: qualitative case study, quantitative experimental study, quantitative article examination and both quantitative and qualitative study. Each study was examined under the titles of the purpose of the study, research questions, target group, studied educational outcomes, the results obtained and suggestions for the future studies. It has been mentioned that interactive games influence students' mathematical and reflective thinking skills, their cognitive performances, operational abilities and motivations towards mathematics positively.
